BBNaija to be Stopped: Lai Mohammed asks NBC (National Broadcasting Service) to stop Big Brother Naija Due to Covid-19

Due to the fear of the possible spread of COVID-19 among inmates in the BBNaija show. The minister of information and culture “Lai Mohammed” has asked NBC to eradicate Big Brother Naija.

However, it was said that Mohammed reportedly wanted the letter that will turn the showdown to come from NBC due to the general opinion that he is bent on sending Multichoice Ltd, the show producers out of Nigeria.

However, a director of the show is said to have reminded the meeting that NBC had already found an explanation from Multichoice on a possible violation of the protocols laid down for COVID-19 with the airing of the show.

It was said that the letter was sent on the 1st of July which means that it was even before the show began.
However, Multichoice gave a reply with detailed explanations on the measures taken in conjunction with the government of Lagos State.

Lagos State Safety Commission has already given them a go-ahead for the show. Multichoice also added by saying in the letter that housemates had been screened prior to the show. And also that the BBNaija house had been decontaminated and adapted to make sure of sufficient physical distancing. Also to eliminate the use of a live audience.

Before the beginning of the show, all housemates went through two-week isolation that is mandatory. If they had the disease, the COVID-19 symptom would have manifested within those two weeks.
