Chucky 2021 Trailer Preview

After a vintage ‘Good Guy’ doll comes up at a suburban yard sale in Chucky, a peaceful American community is thrown into pandemonium. Soon, everyone will have to deal with a series of gruesome murders that will reveal the town’s profound hypocrisies and secrets.

Meanwhile, Chucky’s old acquaintances and foes resurface in his life, threatening to reveal the truth about his unusual origins as an apparently regular youngster who became this infamous monster.

“The primary character is a 14-year-old gay boy who is bullied and feels lost after his mother died recently,” Mancini explained. “He’s a young artist who makes sculptures out of doll parts. He finds Chucky at a yard sale and buys him, but it turns out he gets a lot more than he paid for.”

The program stars Zackary Arthur, who is joined by fellow young performers Teo Briones, Alyvia Alyn Lind, and Björgvin Arnarson. “I wanted to return the franchise back to its Child’s Play roots and have the protagonists be kids,” Mancini explained. “However, since we’d previously dug into having small children in the first two of films, I wanted to do something new.”

Lexa Doig, Devon Sawa, Jennifer Tilly, Fiona Dourif, Alex Vincent, Christine Elise, and Brad Dourif, who voices Chucky once again, all-star in the show. The first episode of Chucky will air on October 12 at 10 p.m. on SYFY and USA.
