Divorce not allowed is a 2018 Nigeria romantic comedy movie. The movie which is the Nigerian actor, Mike Ezuruonye’s directorial debut explores issues faced by young couples in marriages. It also shows how their resolutions sometimes threaten to shake the foundation of their love.

Furthermore, after the amazing success of his debut production ‘Brother Jekwu’, Mike Ezuruonye, the latest Nollywood actor cum director, explained that the movie has a strong message; one that will teach a lot of lessons and engage the viewers. Furthermore, Divorce not allowed focuses on men who although are going through a difficult marriage but are not bold enough to divorce their wives. However, these men as far as setting up scandals for themselves just to get away.

Additionally, the movie also highlights different situations of different men. One of which would not divorce his wife because he is too comfortable in her riches and would rather take any nonsense from her than leave and be uncomfortable. And another who couldn’t comprehend the changes in his recently born again wife and so looked for different means to divorce her, but she wouldn’t leave.

The movie parades an array of stars such as Bolanle Ninalowo, Iyabo Ojo, Angela Okorie, Eniola Badmus, Mike Ezuruonye himself and other actors.

Mike Ezuruonye has starred in some of Nollywood’s most popular movies and is also one of fans’ favorite. Among which are “Excess Luggage,” “Broken Marriage,” “Critical Decision,” “Native Son,” “Unforgivable”.
