Drake on worst behavior? Sued by producer “Detail”


Was Drake on his worst behavior? Another artist caught up with the “artist versus ex-producer war” is the hip-hop star, Drake. It seems like he is our latest lawsuit victim. It has been reported that Canadian’s former collaborator and producer Detail, is entering a lawsuit against the Toronto hip-hop star for an alleged assault that reportedly took place back in 2014.

The story in “Detail” Drake’s Producer

Noel Fisher, who is professionally known as Detail, is an American record producer and recording artist from Detroit, Michigan. Although contributed two songs to the rapper’s 2013 album “Nothing Was the Same”, claims that Drake offered him a deal as the rapper’s “exclusive producer” in 2014. Detail turned down the offer with the fact that he didn’t want to be restricted to working with just one artist. With that being said, didn’t go down well with Drake. The 31 years old rapper who allegedly set up his former producer to get jumped.


Detail claims the hip-pop star afterward invited him over to his crib in Calabasas California. On “the pretext of working together again on some new music” sometime in June of 2014. He arrived at the estate at around 2 AM and was met by Drake’s bodyguard, Chubbs. FurthermoreHe claimed he was greeted with a sucker punch & broken jaw.  During the alleged beat down, Detail says Chubbs was yelling…

“I will beat all your asses, including your bitches. I don’t give a fuck. Do you think Drake is soft? You think Drake’s a punk? I will hit you again.”

The producer claims that Drake orchestrated the attack. Thus, is now seeking financial compensation. Though there’s no word yet on how much Detail is suing for we can only presume it’s for a lot. There is no telling whether or not the story is true. Moreover, there has been no word on Drake’s end about the accusations. A representative of Drake made no comments when contacted.

A prominent hip-hop producer in the last two decades, Detail, received his first Grammy Award in 2015 for his production on Beyoncé’s “Drunk in Love,” which won for best R&B song.
