Facebook Avatar

Facebook avatar is a newly launched feature on Facebook that allows its users to create a cartoon photo of themselves. This is feature is newly launched, so it’s not yet available to everyone. This has been made available in the US, New Zealand, Australia, Canada. Europe, Canada, and India.

You don’t need to download anything, its already in the Facebook app. Avatars can be used in apps like Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, and Mail.

How to Create an Avatar

To create an avatar, all you need to do is;

  • Download and install the Facebook mobile app from PlayStore or App Store, and sign up. if you already have the app, just log in to your Facebook.
  • Click on the three horizontal lines at the top right side of your screen.
  • Scroll down and select “See More”
  • Click on “Avatars”, and click on “Next”
  • Tap on “Get Started”
  • Select a skin color for your avatar
  • After selecting the screen color, go ahead and select a hairstyle, face shape, outfit, etc.
  • After creating your avatar, tap on the “Checkmark” icon
  • Tap on “Next” and then “Done”

How to use Facebook Avatars

After creating your avatar, you can use it as stickers, in comments, as your profile picture, and also in chats. To use your avatars

On Messenger

You can use your Facebook Avatar in messenger, to achieve this, you’ll

  • Click on the “Face Icon”. This is beside the type message section.
  • After you click on the face icon, you will see “Use avatars as stickers”
  • Tap on the “Sticker Icon”. You can now use avatars.

As Stickers

You can also use your avatars as stickers, to send avatars as stickers are very easy. On the top right corner of your screen, you will see an option to share as stickers, click on it. When you click on that, you will see a wide range of stickers available for you to share with friends and family.

As Profile Picture or on News Feed

To be able to use your avatar as your profile picture, tap on the arrow icon at the top right corner of your screen. at the bottom of your screen, you will see two options, “Share as profile picture” and “Share on news feed”. You select the one you want.

As Comments

To use your avatar as comments, go to the comment section and tap on the “Face icon”. At the bottom of the screen, you will see a colored face icon, click on it and you will see all your avatars. select the one you want, and you as a comment.

Facebook Avatar Creator App

Facebook Avatar is not an app. Rather, it is a new feature on the Facebook mobile app which enables users to create Avatars of themselves. To make use of the Facebook Avatar, you must have an account Facebook and must be a Facebook user.

However, if you do not have an account on Facebook, you will have to create one. Because without your Facebook account, you can not create or even edit any Avatar on Facebook.

To create a Facebook account, just go to the Google Play Store (for Android users). If you are an iPhone user, then you have to visit the Apple App Store to download the Facebook mobile app.

Once the app is downloaded and installed on your home screen. You will now sign in and follow the rest onscreen instructions to create your Facebook account.
