Nipsey and Lauren London began dating in 2013. And they both had a child together, born on August 31, 2016. Nipsey’s Daughter Custody

There has been a tussle for Emani Asghedom, Nipsey’s daughter. The battle has been ongoing since Nipsey’s death between Nipsey’s sister and Emani’s mother Tanisha Foster.

Emani has been with her aunt since the death of her father Nipsey who was killed in March. However, Emani’s mother, Tanisha has been in court since then fighting to regain custody of her daughter.

Tanisha and Nipsey’s family were in court on Monday to hash out the custody of Emani. Nipsey’s family believe Tanisha, who has been known to shade Nipsey’s fiancee Lauren London on social media, is an unfit mother for Emani.

Note that Tanisha has a warrant out for her arrest relating to an unsettled DUI case in 2017. She also has a lengthy rap sheet filled with arrests dating back to 2006 and 2007. In the last hearing, the Judge stated that the custody should remain with the aunt pending another hearing in July.

Samantha also played a vital role in raising Emani when her father was alive and she wrote in her petition that she wants to “ensure the continued stability for Emani and ensure that she will be able to maintain her current and ongoing relationship” with her family.
