The film continues the story of Cole Johnson, now a junior in high school must again fight to ensure his survival over one night, as he is hunted by demonic enemies, both old and new.

Two years after the event of the first film, Cole Johnson is now a junior in high school. He couldn’t convince anyone except his best friend Melanie that a satanic cult led by his former babysitter “Bee” tried to kill him.
However, Johnson finds out that his parents enrolled him in a psychiatric school, he escapes with Melanie and her new boyfriend “Jimmy”. Alongside their friends Boom-Boom and Diego to join a lake party.
At the party, Johnson witnesses the arrival of a new student “Phoebe” at the lake after finding a stuffed ty and directions to the lake. Later, Johnson’s friends play a game on a boat when Melanie suddenly kills Boom-Boom with a boathook and saves her blood. Diego, Melanie, and Jimmy are revealed as cult members.
Meanwhile, with Boom-Boom’s blood as a sacrifice, they needJohnson’s blood as an offering of n “innocent” to make their wishes come to reality.
