Watch Dogs Legion is an upcoming action-adventure game, Published by Ubisoft and developed by Ubisoft Toronto. It’s the third installment in the Watch Dogs series and is a sequel to Watch Dogs 2.

Watch Dogs Legion is set within an open world, a fictionalized representation of London, and will feature the ability to control multiple characters that can be recruited across the game’s setting. Also, it will feature a cooperative multiplayer that will allow up to four players.

It’s due to be released for PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, as well as Stadia on 29 October 2020, on the Xbox Series X/S as a launch title on November 10, 2020. It will also be available for the next-generation console PlayStation 5 after its launch date.

Watch Dogs: Legion Gameplay

Watch Dogs: Legion is played from a third-person perspective, and takes place within an open world. It is a fictionalized representation of near-future London, the setting encompasses notable landmarks, boroughs, and cultural styles of the city.

Players have the ability to navigate the city either by foot, fast traveling through the city’s underground stations, or using a variety of different vehicles. Missions can be undertaken at any time, allowing players to partake in any side-activities they want to perform.

Aiden Pearce from the original Watch Dogs will be added to Watch Dog: Legion as post-launch content.

Plot Summary

In the near future, the acceleration within the development of automation and artificial intelligence greatly impacts the economy of Britain – unemployment and organized crime swiftly rise.

The Pound is overtaken by cryptocurrencies, aided by a newly crafted AI called Bagley. The London branch of DedSec investigates a gaggle called “Zero Day” who is planning to destroy the homes of Parliament with explosives.

DedSec operative Dalton Wolfe swiftly infiltrates the building to stop the attack and quickly discovers that the group is masquerading as DedSec, so as to border them for the attack.

However, while he manages to destroy the explosives, Zero Day manages to line off additional explosives around London, throwing the town into chaos.

Before Dalton can relay evidence of the hacker group’s innocence within the bombings, he is murdered by an unknown assailant who steals his findings.
